The location is magnificent and unbeatable, just a 4-6 minute walk from Gothic Quarter Centre. We had a really good stay at Catalonia Portal De L'Angel.- We enjoyed eating at a terrific restaurant for dinner during our stay.

The location is Top. Breakfast was very good. There was even a gluten-free offer.

It was very hot in the room. Since our only window reached into the roofed inner courtyard, ventilation did not help. We had over 25 degrees in our room all the time. February.

The elegant atmosphere at Catalonia Portal De L'Angel was beautiful. The staff were thoughtful and the pool area was nice. The wide choice of hot food catered to every taste. The service made the hotel a lovely quiet place.

Attractive and spectacular property with a nice pool. Astonishing breakfast, a wide range of options available. Excellent service during our perfect 10/10 stay. Very good internet, parking nearby.

Got enjoyable breakfasts with wide choise of both hot and eggs benedict back home, for example. We liked rooms with terrace.

The location of the hotel is great, not far from Plaza de Catalunya and therefore very central. The staff was very friendly and attentive. All in all a very nice hotel. We'd come back.

The bathroom was very cold due to lack of heating. Unfortunately the corridor was also very cold and there was a lot of draught. This is certainly due to the building construction and also to the season. But the atmosphere caused by the old building also has something - positive.

This place offers well-appointed rooms with internal windows, attentive staff, and serves outstanding food including a wonderful breakfast, all within a truly wonderful building in the city center.

Perfect location, large room, very friendly staff

Very nice reception with assistance for sightseeing. Good location from the airport by aerobus coming and going. Downtown. Many things can be reached on foot, or with the nearby metro. Good restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

Room was quite small, some warm dishes from the breakfast buffet were lukewarm at best.

Upgraded to a room with a terrace or outdoor view, which was a nice touch 😊. the room itself was nicely furnished.

The hotel was very comfortable and in an excellent location close to transport and shopping.

Very quiet room (precious in Barcelona) , in a little tower on the rooftop. Friendly, efficient staff, helped us when all planes were grounded. Excellent location on a safe pedestrian street, very close to Plaça Catalunya

The price of our room is justified by the exceptional location, not the facilities which are a little outdated. However, I would request that room in a second for it's quiet location.
